Surrounding Tourist Information

Asakusa Temple is a 13-minute walk away. It is a representative tourist spot in Tokyo with nearly 1,400 years of history as a Kannon sacred site. The area in front of the main gate and symbol, Kaminarimon, is always bustling with people from both Japan and abroad taking commemorative photos. The surrounding area is popular as a treasure trove of gourmet food.

[Tokyo Skytree] 13 minutes by train. It is the tallest tower in the world at 634m, certified by Guinness. From the observation decks at 350m and 450m above ground, you can overlook the entire Kanto region, and there are restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy beautiful views.

Ueno Onshi Park is 17 minutes by train. It is the first zoo opened in Japan. Despite being in the city center, it maintains its natural landscape as an urban zoo, where you can interact with various animals, including the very popular giant panda.

Nakamise Shopping Street is an 11-minute walk away. It is the oldest shopping street in Japan, established in 1688. Along the approximately 300 meters from Kaminarimon to Senso-ji Temple, you can find unique gourmet foods and souvenirs typical of Asakusa on both sides of the approach. You can also enjoy shutter art in the early morning or after closing, experiencing the charm of the downtown area.

Kappabashi Dougu Street is a 15-minute walk away. It is a wholesale district specializing in tableware, packaging, cooking utensils, food samples, ingredients, and cooking costumes, located between Asakusa and Ueno. Since being featured in guidebooks, it has become popular with tourists from abroad.

Edo-Tokyo Museum is a 12-minute train ride away. It is a museum where you can experience the history, culture, and daily life of Edo and Tokyo. It features large-scale models that recreate the Nihonbashi and theater houses of the Edo period, as well as three-dimensional displays of the Rokumeikan and the Ginza brick streets from the Meiji era.

[Ryogoku Kokugikan] 18 minutes by train. It is famous as the place where sumo, a traditional Japanese martial art, takes place. Even when there are no tournaments, you can enjoy the shops inside, making it a popular area that attracts attention from all over the world.

[Tokyo Dome] 20 minutes by train. Japan's first domed stadium, opened in 1988. In addition to baseball, it hosts martial arts, professional wrestling events, concerts, and product exhibitions.

[Shinjuku] 35 minutes by train. Located just a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, Kabukicho, known as the city that never sleeps, showcases one of the most vibrant areas in Shinjuku, filled with numerous entertainment facilities such as game centers and karaoke.

[Airport] Approximately 45 minutes by train from Haneda. 1 hour by train from Narita. You can reach the hotel without transfers from Kuramae Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. If you arrive by air, you can also check in easily.

[Hikikan Inari Shrine] 13 minutes on foot. In the first year of Ansei, the wife of Shinmon Tatsugoro, who was suffering from a serious illness, prayed at Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto and was completely healed. This is the origin of the shrine's deity being enshrined here. It is famous as a power spot for job luck and career advancement, as it is associated with receiving official favor.
