Introducing all the events in the Asakusa area for July at once♪
1. Sumida River Fireworks Festival
The event has been decided to be held for the first time in 4 years! 👏👏
It is planned to launch 20,000 fireworks, the same number as in previous years!!
You can also see it from around our hotel!
*For the safety of our guests, the rooftop deck will not be available for use on the event date, July 29 (Saturday).*

2. Iriya Asagao Festival (Iriya Asagao Market)
This will be held for the first time in four years! 👏👏
The annual "Morning Glory Festival" will be held at the revered Kichijoten Shrine, known as the deity of safe childbirth and child-rearing. ❁
More than 150 stalls, including street vendors and morning glory shops, line the streets, with lively calls from vendors dressed in traditional downtown attire echoing around.
The sight of morning glories lined up is breathtaking! It is said that about 100,000 pots are sold in three days✨

3. Downtown Tanabata Festival
Held for the first time in 3 years 👏👏
Along the approximately 1.2 km road from Showa Street near Ueno Station's Iriya Exit to Asakusa's International Street, colorful Tanabata decorations and lanterns will be displayed!
The venue offers a stunning viewpoint of Tokyo Skytree✨
In addition to parades, Echuu Owara Festival, and street performances, there will also be various food stalls!

4,600 Days Hōzuki Market
The Hozuki Market is held every year on the 9th and 10th of July, which is the Kannon Merit Day of Senso-ji Temple. It is said to correspond to 46,000 days of worship, known as the "46,000 Days" auspicious day.
The grounds are lined with various stalls, including a ground cherry shop, and are bustling with many people!
For just these two days, amulets for "Thunder Protection" will be issued from Senso-ji Temple, so be sure to check it out! ✨
