H.I.S. Hotel Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter HISHH), which operates Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi and Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusa Tawaramachi, will launch the "Samurai Room" in collaboration with Yoshitoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter Yoshitoku) starting Friday, June 27.
With this release, the concept rooms offered by HISHH will total 64 types, making it one of the largest in the hotel industry. The "Samurai Room" is a concept room planned and proposed by a new graduate employee who joined this year through our in-house innovation system. By collaborating with companies in Taito Ward, where the hotel is located, we aim to boost the tourism industry and allow not only Japanese guests but also inbound visitors to enjoy traditional Japanese culture within the hotel. The walls are decorated with the "Armor Display of Tokugawa Ieyasu" from Yoshitoku, a long-established doll maker founded in 1711 (Shōtoku 1), and the "Sekigahara Battle Folding Screen" exhibited at the Sekigahara Town History and Folklore Learning Center. The family crests are designed on the curtains and bed covers. Guests who find the Tokugawa family crest among the crests on the curtains will receive a Yoshitoku "Warring States General Guardian Strap" as a gift.
Prices start from 22,600 yen with breakfast, and from 20,880 yen for room only (both per room per night, including tax and service charge).
