Hello everyone😀
Today, we will introduce the only love deity here in Japan 💖
Koinoki Shrine, located within Suita Tenmangu Shrine in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This shrine is a rare shrine, the only one of its kind in Japan.
The deity is the god of love, Koi no Mikoto 💖, and the sacred emblem is a heart 💖! The amulet is, of course, a heart 💖!
This is a deity that is effective for wishes related to love, such as achieving romantic success and praying for good relationships. 💖
Although it is a bit far from the station and cannot be said to have good access, on holidays, young women come from all over Japan. 💖
It takes about 20 to 30 minutes on foot from Hainuzuka Station on the JR Kagoshima Main Line to Koi Shrine within Suita Tenmangu. By taxi, it costs just under 1000 yen.🚗
There is a rental bicycle available at the Daywakaya in front of the station, so it is convenient to use this.
The Love Tree Shrine, filled with hearts, was not built for its popularity, but has been enshrined in this location since its establishment as a branch shrine of the Suwa Tenmangu Shrine during the Kamakura period. The deity enshrined is the God of Love.
It is read as "💖Koi no Mikoto💖" instead of "Come, life!".
At Koi no Ki Shrine, in addition to the biannual Good Relationship Fulfillment Festival, several events related to love are held throughout the year, including the Kisaragi Ema Offering Festival in February for Valentine's Day and the Koi Musubi Festival on July 7th.
There are many shrines across Japan, but the only shrine dedicated specifically to love is the Koi-ki Shrine.
Although festivals are currently being curtailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, how about taking a little trip to visit Koi Shrine?
