Hello everyone, this is Henn na Hotel Fukuoka Hakata.

October means "Halloween."

Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festival called "Samhain," which celebrated the autumn harvest and was believed to be a time when the spirits of the dead would come to visit their families. It was also thought that evil spirits would appear during this time, so the festival was held to drive away these malevolent spirits.
The style of Halloween popular in modern Japan was introduced from the United States, and from this origin, customs such as distributing candy with "trick-or-treat" and dressing up in costumes have developed.

This time, in honor of "Trick or Treat," we have prepared more sweets than usual!
