Small pumpkins, cats, and for some reason even long-tailed tits have gathered, seemingly holding a meeting for Halloween day.
Halloween is the day marking the end of the year for the Celts and the day they held the festival called "Samhain," which signals the end of summer and the arrival of winter. It was also believed that the spirits of the dead would visit their families on this day.
Those deceased are believed to appear as ghosts, fairies, demons, and the like, and when they return home, food and drink are prepared outside the house to avoid upsetting them or to prevent evil spirits from causing trouble.
