The Nagoya Port Festival on Marine Day began in 1946 as a post-war reconstruction festival and is cherished by the citizens as a celebration that announces the arrival of Nagoya's hot summer.
The fireworks festival that concludes it will start two years later and has become a summer tradition at Nagoya Port.

Nagoya Castle Summer Festival 8/5 - 8/15
