🌸Cherry Blossom Information in the Area🌸

Surrounding Information

In March, there have been many warm days.
We will introduce some cherry blossom viewing spots that are easily accessible from our hotel in Nagoya.

・Nagoya Castle
is bustling with many visitors year-round as a tourist destination, and the combination of Nagoya Castle and cherry blossoms is very photogenic.
Additionally, during the period of the "Nagoya Castle Cherry Blossom Festival" starting in late March, there will also be a planned illumination of the cherry blossoms.
It takes about 15 minutes to get here by subway.

・Tsuruma Park
It is a famous cherry blossom spot that attracts many visitors.I have been there myself, and in addition to the cherry blossoms, there are also roses and other flowers blooming, allowing you to enjoy the seasonal scenery. There are also cafes and restaurants within the park.Additionally, there are plenty of playgrounds, making it a popular destination for families.
Holidays are especially crowded with many people.
It takes about 10 minutes to get there from Fushimi Station via the Tsurumai Line.

・Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens
Last year, it gained attention for being the only place in the country to exhibit Komodo dragons, but Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is also known as a famous cherry blossom spot.
The botanical garden features a "Sakura Corridor," where approximately 1,000 cherry trees reach their peak bloom from late March to late April.
It will be a beautiful space surrounded by cherry blossoms, making it recommended for those who want to take photos.

Personally, I recommend Tsuruma Park as it has many trees and fountains in addition to the cherry blossoms, making it a calm and relaxing place.

Please be sure to visit.
