Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusa Tawaramachi and Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi will launch the "Samurai Room" in collaboration with Yoshitoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Taito-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter Yoshitoku) starting Friday, June 27.
The "Samurai Room" is a concept room planned and proposed by new graduates who joined the company this year through our internal innovation system. By collaborating with companies in Taito Ward, where the hotel is located, it aims to boost the tourism industry and offers not only Japanese guests but also inbound visitors the opportunity to enjoy traditional Japanese culture within the hotel.
The wall is decorated with the "Armor Display of Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu" from Yoshitoku, a long-established doll maker founded in the first year of Shōtoku (1711), and the design of the "Battle of Sekigahara Folding Screen" exhibited at the Sekigahara Town History and Folklore Learning Center. The curtains and bed covers feature family crests.
Customers who find the Tokugawa family crest on the curtains will receive a Yoshitoku "Sengoku Warlord Guardian Strap" as a gift.
