Komatsu City is home to many spots and events closely related to Kabuki, such as the traditional performing art "Hikiyama Kodomo Kabuki" that has been passed down since the Edo period, and "Ataka no Seki," which served as the stage for the Kabuki classic "Kanjinchō," overlooking the Sea of Japan.The nickname of the facility, "Miyossa," is a Komatsu dialect expression used to invite someone to try something, and it serves as a hub for showcasing Komatsu's traditional culture, including the display of "Hikiyama" that can only be seen during the spring "Otabi Matsuri."
