★☆Kamakawa Cool Floor☆★
From May, about 100 restaurants and inns along the riverside of Kamogawa (Kamo River) between Nijo and Gojyo set up "floors" on the riverbank for summer dining.
It is said to have a long history, starting in the Momoyama period!

"The Gozan Okuribi in Kyoto is a traditional event to send off the spirits during the Obon festival."
The large character appears in Higashiyama, followed by Myo and Ho in Matsukazaki, Funagata in Nishigamo, the left Daimonji in Okutayama, and the Torii shape in Saga.
