Introducing all the events in Kyoto for July held in summer!!

①Gion Festival👘
This year, it is fully revived!! The float procession and portable shrine parade will be held as usual.
At the meeting places of each float during the Gion Matsuri, there are protective charms made from bamboo leaves called "chimaki" available for distribution, and collecting the special stamps given at each float town is also very popular!

②Fushimi Inari Taisha Evening Festival🦊
A grand festival where worshippers of Inari from all over the country visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, the head shrine of Inari, to express their gratitude for daily divine blessings.
The event was canceled in 2020 and was held on a smaller scale in 2021.

During the evening of July 22, the Yoimiya Festival will take place, featuring a lantern lighting ceremony conducted by the shrine priests. The entire precinct will be beautifully dyed in vermilion, creating a fantastical atmosphere.
It is a vibrant summer festival featuring the display of lantern paintings and the dedication of the Hongu dance.

This is an event where all participants release lanterns into the sky with their wishes during the Tanabata season.
This year, it will be held in a total of four locations: Kyoto, Tokyo, Aichi, and Fukuoka.

You can also enjoy various festival games, food stalls, and live performances by artists, making it perfect for summer.
