Kamakura Cool Breeze 2024
The elegant and stylish town culture of the Edo period is firmly inherited by the Kamogawa floor.
At the Kamogawa riverside, wind chimes with lights and a wish corner where you can write your wishes on strips of paper will also decorate the riverside.

Arashiyama Ukai
It is a summer tradition held every year in Arashiyama.
Enjoy the night view of Arashiyama and cormorant fishing from a houseboat amidst the bonfire.
The cormorant fishing on August 16 (Wednesday) will only operate with pre-reserved boats.

Daigoji Temple Lantern Festival
At Daigo, the "Night Visit" is held with the offering lights lit, while at Shodaigo, over 1,000 lanterns and lights are lit from sunset, illuminating the approach where the "Spirit Memorial Service" and "Segaki Memorial Service" are conducted.

Kiyomizu-dera Thousand Day Pilgrimage & Evening Pilgrimage
The "Thousand Days Pilgrimage," said to correspond to the great merits of the Kannon deity for a thousand days.
It is said that Murasaki Shikibu and Sei Shonagon also visited, and a talisman for the "Thousand Days Pilgrimage" is granted.

Kyoto Gozan Okuribi
This is a traditional event to send the spirits of our ancestors, who have returned home during the Obon festival, back to the afterlife.
The city lights and advertisements will be temporarily turned off, and the five characters "Great", "Myoho", "Ship Shape", and "Torii Shape" will emerge against the mountains surrounding the city of Kyoto.
