Matsushima is known as one of Japan's three scenic views, famous for seafood such as oysters and clams. If you come to Sendai, there are many breathtaking views that you definitely want to see.

[Sendai Castle Ruins] 20 minutes by bus from Sendai Station. If you come to Sendai, where the statue of Date Masamune, a symbol of Sendai, is located, this is a tourist spot you must visit at least once.

[Zuihoden] 15 minutes by bus from Sendai Station. It is the mausoleum of Date Masamune, the founder of the Sendai domain, located in Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. It is a must-visit place for those who admire Date Masamune.

[Sendai Tanabata Festival] This festival takes place over three days from August 6 to 8 every year. Typically, it attracts 2 million tourists over the three days, making it a major event, and the area around Sendai Station is decorated with various large and small ornaments.

[Sendai Uminomori Aquarium] This is a community-based aquarium located 30 minutes by train from Sendai Station. It features deep-sea fish, and there are many species that can only be seen here.
