Chef Tsutomu Ochiai's Cooking Class Report ♪ Held on 2018/5/17

The other day, at the restaurant "Chef's Try Table" in Henn na Hotel

We had a very enjoyable cooking class at the hotel.

A cooking class where you can share various stories.

 

I was told that when boiling pasta, the salt concentration in the water needs to be 15%.

This means adding 15g of salt to 1L of water.

And when I actually drink it, it's salty!!

Indeed, compared to the amount of salt I usually use, I witnessed Chef Ochiai adding a generous amount.

I learned a lot♪

The cooking class used recipes with ingredients that you would find at home, and it was very easy to understand!

 

After the cooking class, enjoy a course lunch prepared by the chefs at the Chef's Try Table using the menu you just created♪

In addition to carpaccio, vongole bianco, and gazpacho, there's also roast beef, making it very satisfying♪

Earlier, the menu that I was taught how to make was further arranged to be in the Chef's Try Table style, and I enjoyed a luxurious Italian lunch. I was able to spend a very lavish time of about 2 hours◎

 

Additionally, a thoughtful gesture with souvenirs included.

 

It is planned to hold a cooking class again around autumn next time.
